Selection Criteria
Stigasoft recommends this form of delivery model for the projects having the following characteristics:
  • Scope, specifications, and implementation plans are not clearly defined at the initial stage of development
  • Prone to specification and design changes during development
  • The duration of the project cannot be accurately estimated
Model characteristics
The model offers greater flexibility to the clients in terms of developing the project specification on an ongoing basis and changing the specifications based on the upcoming market trends. Strict project management and reporting practices are followed whereby time sheets are generated on a regular basis for each person working on the project. The steps taken by Stigasoft are:
  • The client specifies the task and period of time for the project
  • Based on this, Stigasoft specifies the rates chargeable to the client
  • Stigasoft enters into an agreement with the client once both the parties agree on the rates
Cost of project in this model depends on the team size and the efforts required from each team member. The payment is made on the basis of monthly invoice issued to the client depending on the effort reports.
